The in-ear device connects to an app on your mobile device where you select the language you need translated.
As of right now the options include Spanish, Italian, French and English. We can only assume the options will grow as popularity of the device increases.
The product is scheduled to hit the market in September of this year and should retail around $129.
The inventor admits, "I came up with the idea when I met a French girl."

Like the universal translator in Star Trek.
I'm impressed with the price; similar to that of a cheap bicycle, but awesome in its power to allow you to traverse new cultures with ease.
