Why Money Is Important

in #money7 years ago

Money is not the most important element, but it stands right up there with breathing. You need money to sustain in this society. Money helps in building roads, parks, schools; it pays for public services, public safety, and law enforcement.

Money gives shelter to the homeless, feeds the hungry and also helps in educating the masses. Money provides the healthier opportunity to start businesses, high-end profit invests in real estate, and funds charities. The value of money is seen in the neighborhoods that lack it.

Good or Evil
Money is amoral. It's neither bad nor good. How you use money decides if it will help or hurt your community. It is just like a brick isn't evil until you choose to harm a person or personal property. Money is an instrument used to exchange goods and services. In the right hands, it can empower a neighborhood or bring it down to a slum.

People say that money doesn't matter, but they work 40, 60, or 80 hours to get it. They visit seminars, classes, and events on how to make more. Why is the nation addicted to credit and piling up debts if mastering money is a little priority?

Control Your Spending
Bad spending habits let you towards debt and poverty. You can't save money if you are spending all that you earned. Make a monthly budget and cut all your expenses. Renegotiate interest rate and eliminate stuff you don't use. Do you need cable, magazine subscriptions, and the club membership? Instead of buying on credit find a way to pay cash and get discounts.

Become Debt Free
Your goal is Debt freedom. The average monthly mortgage payment ranges from $600 to $1100 according to time.com. Those are payments that could go to your company, savings, or investing. Managing your spending will help you pay off all of your debts.

Make More Money
To spend more earn more. There are numbers of things you can do to earn a side income. An extra $1000 per month can put you on the road to financial independence. Turn your hobby into some dollars. Start consulting and placing your talents to work. Sell all that stuff in your house that you haven't used in years.

So, use your generated money wisely to enhance your standard of living.

Definitely agree with a lot of what you had to say. I too find myself doing what I call "spending creep" where I make more money and in turn spend more. Just consciously realizing that it is happening is enough to break me from my creep, but it is difficult and I can see how it would be able to overtake people.

I also, like the other commenter , wish there was no such thing ... to prevent one from thinking they have some kind of status over another! ... when you look into its origin, it is essentially a receipt !!... I now believe that gold is the way to go!

You are so right, money enhance the standard of living for billions around the world, its our best way of fair trading ,, its neither good are bad , its just the purpose its been used for, it shapes our world

yes it is important but money is not everything in this life

Money puts food into my belly!

Great article and well said. We must all remember that money is a tool and it must be utilized properly.

Yes. Almost people are here to make money like you like me :))

Important but people get way too attached to it.

In this world of ours you have to keep busy and try your hardest if you want to be succesful because nothin is given for free. I always try to make my earnings from things that I enjoy and that sometimes makes it harder but a lot more pleasant to put effort in. Turn your hobbies into a small side project ans keep improving, don't spend more than you can afford and avoid debt - that is the best thing you can do if you want to earn or save extra money.
