Personally, I've always set my goals so high that they may seem unreachable. At the same time, I've always had a plan B. I'd like to share some of these beautiful cars with you.
A car may seem like a materialistic goal, but that all depends on your perspective.
It's not just about owning the car. The feeling you get when you turn the corner and you see that flawlessly designed car. You get a flashback to all of the sweat and hard work you've put in to get to where you're at. Turning the key and hearing the car rev up while you watch the dashboard light up. Everywhere you go, people looking at you. You stand out, which is the greatest feeling in this cookie cutter society. They like your car, but the main thing running through their mind is, "Who is that? I wonder what he/she does..".
Your car is more than just a car, it's an outlet for you to express yourself.
Below you'll see 4 cars. I want you to guess their prices and keep those prices in mind for below. No cheating!
Is it worth it?
Realistically, it all depends on you and your agenda. It is 100% worth it if you are looking to build a business, reputation, or respect. Otherwise, it is up to your judgement. I'll ask you one simple question. You see a rusty 1991 honda accord and an Audi R8 pull up. Whom would you trust more with your time/money at first glance? I know that the quote "Don't judge a book by it's cover." comes into play quite often, but realistically most times we don't incorporate that into our initial thought process.
Reality
Now, let be real here. The Lotus Elise and Fisker Karma do not even come close to comparing statistically to the Mclaren P1 and Aston Martin. Comparing to such a high level of cars, i think it's fair to establish the "beggars can't be choosers" phrase.
Although, physically, the Elise and Karma are very appealing cars. The reason i put all 4 cars into one image is to show that they all look like they belong next to each other.
With that being said, the Elise and Karma are very affordable alternative options.
The reveal
Remember those prices you guessed above, let's see if you were right.
Were you right?
2014 McLaren P1: 2,000,000$ 33,000$/mo
2005 Lotus Elise: 30,000$ 550$/mo
Aston Martin One-77: 1,700,000$ 28,000$/mo
2012 Fisker Karma: 37,000$ 620$/mo
If you agreed with me that these 4 cars look like they belong together, then we agree that the Elise and Karma are very great alternatives if you cannot afford to spend 100,000s nor 1,000,000s of dollars .
At 550-650$/month you would be turning heads and breaking necks everywhere you go. You will also be talked to with a higher level of respect when pulling up to any restaurant/meeting.
I hope this has inspired you!
Please feel free to share your opinions!
Man that's a big difference on a monthly. I like the 2012 Fisker Karma: 37,000$ 620$/mo deal.
Yeah man! It's actually kind of a sad story about Fisker. Their big shipment of 30,000,000$ worth of cars got wiped out by a hurricane..
