We are getting our third raise in 3 years but each time it is still a net loss of take home pay. A 0.25 cent raise per hour doesn't cover the additional $200 in cost to health insurance per month. I'm not sure how long people can continue to lose money each year while the cost of goods goes up. Especially essential things such as food, clothing, shelter, lights, water, transportation, and health insurance premiums mandated by our brilliant federal government. What a tax on the working poor and middle class families in the USA. Before Obama Care I purchased family coverage with low deductibles and small annual out of pockets for around $500 bucks. Now it is almost $1500...But my pay hasn't went up to cover this in 10 years....Crazy how expensive it is to live in the USA now. Wish they would do something and fast!
