Go Live In Poland! It's Cheap As Hell

in #money8 years ago

Everyone seems to care allot about money these days, then why not live in one of the most cheap country's of europe?

I'm talking about Poland. The cost of living there is significantly lower then in other places in europe like: netherlands, germany, or norway.
It's even cheaper then living in the USA so for all the american people under us this is interesting for you too! (I know there are allot so)

If you take a look at this cost of living map you can see some country's are way cheaper to live in then others

The color yellow indicates the price of living in Prague, if the color is more green it's 30-70% cheaper to live in that area, and when the color is more red its 120-280% more expensive to live there.

I personally live in Rotterdam in the netherlands, so you can see that i'm paying a high price to live here (which sucks) and i am planning on leaving within 5-10 years when i have made enough money from my crypto investing.

What do you guys think of this difference in cost, wouldn't it be smarter to all just move to a cheaper place to live?

This is all relative, you also make much less in Poland than the more expensive places. If you are already loaded however, then Poland is a great idea for preserving your wealth.

Ofcourse the average loan is lower in Poland, but if you live of crypto investing, gold/silver, or even steemit/youtube (like allot of us do) You will be way cheaper of in Poland. Thanks for commenting

Thank you for sharing, I'm following you!

Thank you so much! I really apprieciate it man :)

Sadly it will be more difficult for us brits post brexit. Taiwan is also a nice and cheap option thats why i moved here last year. A bit far away from home though ....

Yes thats true.. How is it living in Taiwan? how much does rent cost you on average on monthly base?

€900 a month will get you a nice 2 or maybe even 3 bedroom flat in Taipei the capital, and a bedsit probably around 1/3 of that.

It's reasonable if your income is location-independent or you have plenty of savings. If you plan to work in Poland it's more or less the same as in other European countries or US. What you have to pay for living in euros you'll pay in Poland the same amount but in zlotys. However, if you want to buy, for example a smartphone or a laptop you'll have to pay it's value in dollars/euros exchanged to zlotys, so about 4 times more.

Nonetheless I think Poland has some other advantages over Western Europe :) I myself consider It a great place to settle for retirement.

I'm also planning to live in Poland when i've saved enough money from crypto investing. I think it would be not only cheap but also fun to see the world from a different place doon you think?

The only issue is medical as everything else you can purchase online or back home if its cheaper. We recently had to fork out nearly a months expense on an emergency medical situation as we dont have medical cover in Taiwan!

As for medical issues in Poland it's best to purchase private medical insurance, for example LuxMed, as it costs less than actual public health fund (this is paid obligatory, taken from your paycheck) and the services are decent. As far as I remember such an insurance costs no more than $100 per month.

Lol is that for real? 100$ a moth for medical care... thats nothing

Oh thats a downside but i think youll still profit or not?

Definitely because we couldnt afford to live off savings in UK
