So that's what happens with spam... :) can he still post a bunch of garbage though & waste space on the blockchain? (like a blockchain DOS attack)
I don't think there is any way to really prevent that.
I think bitcoin prevents spam basically because every transaction comes with a fee. Now I hope that doesn't mean that Steem will have to start charging a fee for every post. Maybe if spam becomes a problem we can only charge that fee to accounts with bad reputation. Just an idea :)
