Pimco - Dynamic Income Fund (PDI) & Dynamic Credit and Mortgage Income Fund (PCI)
These are both high quality closed end funds. A closed end fund sells shares at the beginning and then the shares trade independent of the underlining value of the shares in the fund. So you can end up paying more than the fund is worth and you can buy them at a discount. Timing is important with closed end funds. Also these funds use leverage to boost there returns. They are not as safe as traditional bond funds with no leverage but they have a better ROI.

Blackstone Mortgage Trust Inc. (BXMT)
Blackstone Mortgage Trust is what I call money gimmick. They have a large pool of capital that they leverage by borrowing even more money at low interest and then lend it out to others at a higher rate. BXMT makes large loans on real estate projects. Since it is a REIT it has to pay out 90% of its profits to investors. I like this one the most because it is tied to Blackstone which give it certain advantages. It pays a nice quarterly dividend.
