I've been rolling in my grave since 1913, but I recently figured I should crawl on out and write my first post on steemit to warn others about the expanding debt money monster that I thought I slayed in 1832 (picture below). Not bad for an old man, eh?
Apparently, it respawned in 1913 under the deceptive name "Federal Reserve" (not federal, no reserves). But it's just as malicious as the one I fought back in my day - only the name has changed. And apparently the bankers wised up and didn't shackle this incarnation of the monster to a 20 year charter.
So what did I do? I took a look at a recent world map to see just how far the monster has spread and what other countries it has consumed. Here's what I found. In the year 2000 there were 7 countries without a privately owned central bank: Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea, Iran. In 2003 the number shrank to 5 (Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea, Iran). I found it interesting that North Korea and Iran are constantly derided in Western media as warmongering nations that must be dealt with in harsh militaristic fashion - similar to how the monster consumed Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya.
And finally Cuba, which is the subject of a October 14, 2016 Presidential Policy Directive, which detailed how it will be consumed by the debt money monster in a more genteel fashion so as not to repeat a "Bay of Pigs" fiasco. Of particular importance are 2 statements from the White House's Presidential Policy Directive/PPD-43. Quotes and source link below.
IV. Strategic Landscape
"Cuba is not a member of international financial institutions (IFIs), such as the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank, which could provide expertise and potentially finance economic reforms and viable investment projects."
V (3). Expanded Commerce
"the Cuban government announced in early 2016 plans to eliminate the 10 percent penalty on U.S. dollar conversion transactions, subject to improved access to the international banking system. "
Soon the debt money monster will have consumed every nation on the face of the earth. I can see what's happening, can you?
Yours truly,
Old Hickory
Excellent write!
The Creature From Jekyll Island was one of the first red pill books I ever read.
Yes I can see what's happening and plan on posting more about this to. I'm just not sure if a lot of people on here are interested in this stuff though.
All wars are bankers wars.
Thanks and welcome :o)
Michael
Creature From Jekyll Island is a good book on the Fed. What are the most popular topics on steemit? cryptocurrency?
