Interesting. When we went off the gold standard and stopped minting silver in our coinage, we gave up a lot. Not a smart move but consider the source. For a time I did some mining in getting boxes of half dollar from the local credit union and searching for old silver halves. Found about 180 coins until the credit union stopped allowing it as it was costing them money. Thanks @papa-pepper
