Twitter will launch on Wednesday a system through which people can earn from broadcast live in Periscope, the first time a social networking community does something like this to try to compete with YouTube.
People who see in Periscope will be able to send broadcasters and performers a rating in various visual forms that also serve as virtual currency to buy.
Broadcasters who receive "super heart" will worth $ 175 will be labeled as "super broadcasters" and can generate money from the broadcasts, the company said.
This service will be offered initially in the United States, however Periscope will extend to other countries in the world.
After additional charges, broadcasters will benefit up to 70% of the revenue generated, said Twitter.
Periscope, a service launched in 2015, said it has broadcasted 77 million live hours since its debut.Generally speaking, it’s good for social platforms to enable users to make money directly from the platform.
During February, Youtube said it would allow live streams from a mobile device to users with 10,000 subscribers or more.
