According to their website, you can make a personal weight loss bet, get your friends together for a team weight loss challenge, or compete in a corporate wellness program. You choose how much you want to bet based on the amount of weight you want to lose and the time it will take to lose.
2. DietBet
DieBet is like healthwage.com except it's more of a game. The site boasts 400,000 people have won $21,000,000 dollars! DietBet works by forcing you to make a concrete commitment. There are different pools you can enter. You basically betting against other people that don't keep their commitments and they pay you when you keep yours. And if all of you keep your commitments, you split the pot. 96% of participants lose weight. You can do a 4-week bet or up to 12 months. It's an interesting concept and worth giving a look.
3. Pact
Pact is one of many Apps version of being paid to lose weight. It pays you for completing tasks such as logging your meals, eating more veggies, tracking your workout and etc. It's a double edge sword so if you don't complete these tasks, you pay the App a fee.
4. Fitcoin
This App was started in 2015 out of Austin, Texas and it tracks your workout for you. You don't have to bet anything. You just need a device that monitors your heart rate like a Mio Band and your smartphone will mine coins while you workout out. In a demonstration, $0.05 was mined in a 40-second jog. So that is like $0.075 a minute (which is $90 a month working out 5 hours a week). That could pay my electricity bill for the month! If I had a Fitbit, I would download this App today just to try it out.

This is the only one I have tried and it's worth a mention. Bodybuilding.com has a transformation challenge every year in which two participants (one male, one female) can win $100,000. They also have smaller cash prize transformation challenges like $10,000 or $20,000 throughout the year. The good news is it's free to enter and all you have to do is take your before pictures and upload them to their site. The bad news is, everybody and their momma go after it; so competition is steep.
