It's true, but steemit is not some easy money platform that will get you rich over the night. You need to put a lot of effort and be patient to earn a fair amount of money. But it's more profitable if you are from the poor country. :)

Absolutely right, @jokster! I just read an article about how to best curate comments on your own articles. It was very informative. One of the most important points the author made was that a person can earn more by being a good curator of their own comments, and it is worth the time to curate comments thoughtfully, and carefully to award higher amounts to the most thoughtful comments. So I see this as another very good way for profits to increase for those most in need of it.

Very interesting read. I like the idea of keeping spam comments lowest on your articles while giving a credit to other users that comment meaningful content (like you). I'm already doing this but anyway, thanks for sharing. :)
