It depends where your principles lie really. See/investigating what is ethical. For an example, take Amazon. I documentary I saw (you can see clips on 'You'Tube IF they still exist. I will talk about YT too) called Amazon: Behind the Click. it showed how awful multi-billion corporate Amazon treats its workers. Like freaking slaves. Ever since seeing it I chose never to buy anything via them again!
And advertisers per se. If you are hip to what is lately going on at Google/Youtube you will see this massive censorhip where people who get monetary rewards from advertising are gonna have it stopped unless they follow these truly ludicrous and highly censoring guidelines. This is exactly what 'has' happened to mainstream media and is the epitome of propaganda.
So what does one do to 'make money'? Support this sht??
YouTube Destroys Itself With Enraging New Guidelines
julianoneill I understand your frustration and I agree the censorship is awful but age old saying applies "follow the money" whether we like what these companies do or not we have families to support and lives to live so while in their ecosystems we must abide by their rules which is why I am grateful for steemit and the trail it is blazing.
