This method works 100% in the UK. I have only worked in the UK so I can not guarantee this methods works in every country. I have so many companies to work for I get fired for fun. You will not need to spend a whole week without a job ever again.
1st. You need the mentality to push your self at work like when you go to gym. You must not mind getting dirty, the money is worth it. Then apply CSCS Operative / Labourer test. Pass the test, there is some other classroom bullsht for newer people to go through, pay for the card as well as the tests, its a little bit of money but after that you can always find a job whenever you need. There is many jobs waiting and they recently construction laborers have been getting payed more than minim wage around £8.50/hour.
2nd. Make a phone call to a Construction Recruitment Agency. Google Construction Recruitment Agency". All you need is CSCS Card and doors are open for you work. There is plenty of jobs available. Construction labourers are in demand. How to find an Agency to call? Try looking on indeed.co.uk for an agency. The agency makes money by sending you to construction sites, they make money when you make money so they find work for you. They will ask on the phone a few questions:
Have you got CSCS Card? -Yes
Do you have more than one year experiance working as a Labourer? - Lie and and say Yes or make up a few years
Do you have your own PPE? - Say YES (Personal Protection Equipment, i.e. Steel Toe Cap Boots, High viz vest, Hard Hat and Gloves. Boots you need to buy, the rest may get given to you when you arrive on a construction site ready to work.
The agency will send the job details where to arrive and start work and there you go... you will make money as long as you don't give up. Work will make you a hard man with time. Lets say you start on Monday, next Friday you will get paid for you first week. You can get yourself many jobs like this without doing any paperwork. I go to work late every single day and when I get fired I find my next job within half an hour on average.
