I think land is a solid investment given that you can actually defend it.
It's how people how survived since before we can remember.
Sure gold is malleable, and is a great conductor. It looks pretty.
But if a real collapse came do you think that people would be searching for gold? Within 2-3 days every grocery store for miles would be ransacked.
