RE: Relax, Everything Is a Ponzi Scheme

in #money8 years ago

I gave you an entire article that explains (based on my perspective) that there is no such thing as order. I could be a higg's boson and perceive every electron in an atom perfectly "ordered". I could be a human and everything would seem to be chaotically moving around the nucleus.

I am not sure if its wise to keep repeating myself.

Sort:

So if there is no such thing as order, what is it that is holding and controlling reality in such a way that we can continue to have this conversation? A higgs boson or a human looking at an atom will see the same orderly atom with electrons zipping around it. We can exploit the orderliness of electrons to make electric power.

time

A higgs boson or a human looking at an atom will see the same orderly atom with electrons zipping around it.

nop. a boson will see the position of the electrons in an entirely different manner due to its size and place.

We can exploit the orderliness of electrons to make electric power.

irrelevant. one could say that electrons exploit you so you can keep breathing.

So time built the computers and wires and power stations. Time dug out the raw materials and discovered the physical laws of the universe that allow us to manipulate these materials. Time holds electric running along the wires. Time is all the physical laws that we have discovered and use. Time is the strong nuclear force, time is the weak nuclear force, time creates chemical bonds. Time is gravity. Time is the interaction of all these forces that are actually just itself.

A boson will look at the same atom that a human will in a different manner, of course. But they will be looking at the same atom.

We know how electrons interact with reality. We know they interacts with reality in an orderly fashion. With this knowledge, I am keeping my pot of coffee warn on my kitchen counter.

for a specific amount of time. thank you for answering your question

So it is the passage off time that is keeping the coffee warm. Sounds legit.

The passage of time will always get your coffee colder. always.
what keeps it warm is the entropy of water molecules flying around. Once they ease off the water gets more stable. leave it there for an amount of time and it evaporates.

does that seem like an "orderly" thing to you?

My coffee pot will maintain the same temperature for as long as I desire. So yea, its not getting colder for as long as I desire it hot. It is caused by the orderly transfer of electric energy to heat energy in the heating element. The coffee will evaporate at a known rate given a known temperature and humidity, which seems orderly to me.
