Hi djohan, if you like all you finace, crypto, world news articles and vids in one place i invite you or anyone for that matter to visit my page. All these topics and some others will be added throughout the day. Be well.
Very interesting post. Can't tell you how many times in the past I've heard similar over the years. We all know it can't go on forever but it's seems like it's been forever already. I think "IT" happens when they want it to. When they've squeezed the sponge so tight that it's dryer than all the jokes in hell, they'll flip the switch and reverse it for their benefit. Seems this way at times to me.................... Thanks for the post. Following.
I understand how were being led down a path to a cashless society where nothing is tangible and how to have cash is somehow a crime but doesn't all of this just scare the hell out of you? Reminds me of schwarzenegger's movie "total recall" in many ways.
Just was wondering whats the difference between cryptocurrency and what the banks are using to create 1 and 0's out of thin air now. With cash at least they can only print so fast, they could never print the amount of debt we have. What devalues the doller is the banks being able to use our money as fractional Reserve. I do like the concept of cryptocurrency as long as the ppl control the value by buying into it.
Quite simply, our dollar is a debt instrument. It is printed out of thin air and interest is charged for its use. They can print or more correctly digitize as much as they want. And they are. Cryptocurrency has a limited amount that will be created and we are not a slave to its creators.
Wow! only 1.5 trillions printed US. dollars, the rest is 20 trillions? or 60 trillions? because total debt we must add states, companies and individuals debt... but 20 or 60 or more trillions it´s the same the amount is huge! unpayable at least, when this banksters cartel system collapse??...
Love the Title! People don't realize most of the money is already Digital just issued on Centralized Platform.
This is not Harry Potter where they store your Deposit money in your Vault! It's all just numbers keyed into a Bank Centralized System! People know this, but just need to be reminded. Cryptocurrencies are New and we already love Digital Money, who do we Trust now, Developers or Bank's?
My wakeup call in regards to the world becoming a cashless society was last year when i politely mentioned to the bank lady that i wanted to withdraw £5,000 in cash from my account. To which she replied no sorry, we can only give you £2,000 if you haven't made an appointment in advance. Then she asked the other bank lady if they had enough to give me £2,000. Oh..ok..sorry for assuming that a large bank would have a little bit more than a few thousand in cash in their branches for situations like this haha, i thought this was a bank! They acted like they were doing me a favour by giving me less than half what i asked for. 👀
Yes, Ive had that in australia too. I took 10k out and they want to know what its for......its their "anti money laudering" policy lol. I told them because its mine and I want it. Then I told them, actually tell them....on their pc......that interest rates are so low, there is no point keeping it in the bank. They laughed, I said "I'm serious, put that down!"
Great video Greg. less than 1% of the population realizes whats going on. The other 99% will never understand. In the end i belive it will be down to silver, gold and crypto currency. Now is the time to buy all 3.
It doesnt matter at all. Reality doesn't have to follow a bunch of automated virtual algorithms the debt clock runs on. But it makes great fantasy to drift to sleep with.
Greg, you're a hero for the people. Whenever I hear your introductory, "Hey, it's me - Gregory Mannarino" my ears perk up and I listen closely to what you have to say
Greg has had all of his videos removed from Youtube in the past. Someone with some power doesn't like his message and the free help his videos give us. We need to support him here on Steemit.
I agree. Two of my favourite guys to listen to.
I think it will only be a matter of time before they start using steemit. I watched a video with Geoff Berwick and the founders of steemit. Great interview good to hear how we can all benefit from been involved with steemit.
Thanks again for the invitation to SteemIt and for the sage advice as to the financial markets. Your posts are greatly appreciated by myself, and others like me, who would like to learn how to deal with the ever-changing marketplace.
Me does the happy dance that you came to Steemit. This cryptocurrency newbie has their eye on you. This week I doubled and will triple my money and it keeps rising> I am a 100% powered up and it's paying off. YES I am now a Steemit believer. Keep it real and down to earth Ciao for now.
Great video. I first got introduced to the modern currency/fractional reserve system by watch a video on Youtube called 'Money as Debt'. Laid out what you just covered really well. When Bitcoin came along with a predictable inflation curve to 21mil units and a hard stop on creation, it made me wonder what would happen to the value of gold if the last ounce of was mined and sitting above ground?
Good on you @marketreport laying it out hard on people about the fractional reserve system. Did you ever watch the ZeitGeist movie? Some things are a bit over the top but the way it's laid out helps clearly understand the issue. Interestingly... it initially came out one year before the 2008 mess.
Do take a few minutes to watch it... with a finger on the right arrow key. It might bring some inspiration for future videos you might do about the subject and as we dive into crypto world: "In code we trust!" ;-)
Even though the vast majority is not held in cash anymore, you still have the option to withdraw cash. But it is increasingly being restricted. In a fully cashless society there is no such option at all.
The facts about the real asset left in an any account is very informative.
Most peeps think the number they see is the real one, sad.
No one remembers anymore what happened to the Greek people not so long ago..
Keep up the good work!
You make a great point about us already being in a cashless society, I hadn't thought of it that way. The great thing about digital currencies, is they provide a cashless digital alternative that has many of the features of gold and silver. It's portable, divisible, durable, fungible, and depending on the coin, scarce. Even though you can't touch it (one of the reasons why it's still important to own physical gold and silver) it does have some additional advantages such as anonymity and security. In the world you describe, where almost all assets are digital, derived from other assets, and fraught with huge counterparty risk, digital currency is a cashless asset that affords us many of the same protections that precious metals do. Although I continue to own stocks, more and more of my portfolio is digital currencies and precious metals.
@marketreport Morning Greg, love your vids and the odd smile you put on my face. Always looking forward to the next one, so glad you have been doing the few extra vids. keep it up my brother :) and hi to all your subs and followers
Who knows! If Bix Weir is right then the price of gold is completely under the control of the elite. If I were the miners, I'd be withholding must of the pay dirt in order to force the price up!!
Great video Greg. I try encourage my family and friends to start buying physical gold and silver by explaining what kind of situation we have know and they say that i am too negative. Like owning a gold is something bad. But when the new crisis hit and the banks closed their doors then their will be hell for them. I am not even mentioned cryptocurrency to them because it is like explaining quantum physics to a 4 year child :)
Same here with me. You are wasting your time with family and most friend explaining this situation. Just keep on what your doing and it will pay off for you in time
Just wondering is it not a form of cryptocurrency that the banks are using right now just to add 1 and 0 to our debt. Whats to stop government from going balls to the wall with cryptocurrency, the only thing with cash is that the printer's cant print fast enough to keep up with our debt.
Volatility index sitting near record lows for awhile now. I don't take that as a good sign, people are frozen just waiting for something to happen next. I don't imagine it being the economy taking off.
Hey Gregory. You are making some bank here at Steemit. I recommend that if you want to cash some out in the future, watch a video made by @piedpiper. He did a great video back in July on how to cash out on blocktrades. Super easy and piedpiper's videos helped me navigate through this steemit channel. Thanks for the great posts.
I watch most of your videos and often wonder to myself how you handle the stress of working in the markets these days. I work with liquid iron, but at least I know the direction the burn is coming from. Keep up the good work, all us little guys are glad you "have our back".
hey guys, there is something big around the corner I think, time is running out to get precious metals, I wrote about it here:
https://steemit.com/money/@contrarianinvest/4vvyfu-the-hong-kong-golden-dragon-that-kills-comex
This is important check it out guys, comex may default soon...
We have been waiting for this for many years.
Unfortunately there are many false prophets out there.
Thanks for writing, i am following you now

Your post was mentioned in my hit parade in the following category:
I understand how were being led down a path to a cashless society where nothing is tangible and how to have cash is somehow a crime but doesn't all of this just scare the hell out of you? Reminds me of schwarzenegger's movie "total recall" in many ways.
hmmmmmmm I am going to have to watch that movie this week-end.
Dont get stooged by the remake, cant beat the original
Yes far better, pulling the bug through his nose was far better than riping it out of his hand.
Ah, yes. BoogerBugs. Gearing up for the week-end movie.
The glow! LOL!
I love how you can see the bug glowing through his skin, like when you take a flashlight to your hand in the dark. Classic!
That was great, made me laugh so much. Happy times.
That looks really painful!
Damn bats in the cave me thinks!!
I haven't seen the remake. No good?
Engineer the problem, then come in with the solution. One of their most cherished pastimes stillwater.
Agreed.
How about an upvote AND resteem!
Still a newbie here...what is a resteem?
Agree, what is it
Great info, thanks greg

Well, thats exactly right, but they wont give it to you without writing something in the computer! Its outragous!

Hey, i do too, but i must admit i get distracted by reading all the comments! I have to give myself rules, listen, then read.
Haha! Me too. It's always been that way for me. Funny to watch the trolls get shut down as well as all you can learn from those comments.
There are some very knowledgeable people out there, thats for sure!

Awesome as always! The banking system needs a complete redo!!!!!DR
Thank you again for important information. We need to get Greg Hunter & Bix Weir over hear on steemit, then I can avoid you tube for good.
Bring Greg Hunter on. Long time fav

Nice update Greg! Silver spot price is 16.27 today, may have to buy up some more physical silver.
Thanks Gregory, this is another eyeopener!

I need to get another silver oz. with my cash I have in my pocket now.
I try to buy a roll of quarters every month
Well said
We have to be getting close to the point when the metals will start to take off. Everyone needs to have some silver or gold in there possession.
that's why you should go for hard assets e.g. gold / silver
