The Federal Reserve Balance Sheet, (Assets On Their Books).
The Federal Reserve claims to me "Normalizing" their balance sheet, which is now larger than the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of many countries on Earth.

You will notice that the Federal Reserve's Balance Sheet IS NOT "normalizing" or shrinking... It is getting LARGER.

Brother Greg! That was a BRILLIANT analogy today of 'blaming the car - not driver'! I had never heard it put that way before. I have a unique perspective as a conscientious conservative - I wish there were no guns anywhere but as that will never be the case and our Constitution must be defended, While I hope to never have need of such weaponry I threw my support behind the N.R.A. yesterday purchasing a $40 membership. Once one Amendment Right is taken, the rest will follow. As for the Fed, man what a dog-'n-ponie show that is! It cannot last much longer as Trump once stated, when U.S. debt hits $24T the music stops . . . . we're well past $21T so......annnnnnnnnnnnnnd . . . . BEGIN!

Since 2014 when QE supposedly ended the Fed balance has gone down from 4.5 trillion to 4.1 trillion in 2017. Now we are supposed to believe that the Fed is going to unwind the rest of this balance sheet. At this rate it will take decades!

Indeed - what is the banks' current capacity to continue to buy and hold additional gov't debt? If we can gauge that we'll know when the whole deal comes tumblin down.
