"Fuck you money" - that's flippin' brilliant. LOL
I grew up poor (4 kids & 2 adults on dad's E4-6 Army salary). I've noticed a pattern throughout my life of living paycheck to paycheck and my husband and I recently lost just about everything. So as we're in 'recovery mode' my goal is to split my Steemit earnings between payouts and investing back into the platform - especially while my husband considers digital currency as fake Monopoly money. I'm still a minnow but I'm swimming hard to keep up with the bigger fish. My life lessons have taught me to be frugal (out of necessity) but my goal is to remain frugal because I want to. I actually like the simpler lifestyle...but rewarding our hard work with a 'toy' or going to see a concert or sporting event would be nice once in a while.
