Im not sure where the Kimberely Process Certification for companies started. I do know Kimberley is the capital of the Northern Cape Province of South Africa and it has alot of violence and diamond history.

Hey @mrweed yeah Kimberley is a diamond mining town in my home country, South Africa, well done! I would have it as a very good guess that the KP report was most likely named after it. :)
