When a YouTuber is censored, that means certain uploads of theirs are demonetized, so those videos do no have ads on them anymore, although they can still get brand deals and do affiliate marketing, stuff like that. They just don't earn ad revenue from those videos, mainly because advertisers that are paying google and youtube to put their ads out there are becoming more and more picky in terms of what content their ads are run on.
