I would say investing money in knowledge will always be a good idea. Especially real books from for example Kindle. Great knowledge really takes some digging to discover. Since it's more hidden and perhaps you aren't ready for it. But knowledge will always pay off in the long run if you combine in with humility and hard + smart work. Eventually you will find something that just works and clicks. But it's usually a build up of all the smaller knowledge learning moments you have had.
