That staff in your hand is like the staff a surveyor uses with the total station or a theodolite. I think I get your point about the control over your money. Recently Indian govt banned the old currency notes of 500 and 1000 rupees and issued new ones. Intentions of the govt was to curb the black money menace, but there were consequences.
The new notes took time for circulation in a country with 1.3 billion people, and wherever it was available, long lines followed the ATM machines. Nearly for 3-4 months, everyone faced the problem in getting their money, it didn't manner if your money was white or black.
That is where one felt as if having no control over his own money. I think you dialogued the same thing in this post. Nice post. upvoted.
