I remember watching this video a few years ago before I discovered cryptocurrency and found it to be very fascinating. It was created over a decade ago and tells a fictional account of how the world of money and banking might look in the year 2015. Some things it sort of got right, but most of it is way off. I think the biggest failing of the video is overestimating the vision of the banking sector and large tech companies to think outside the box when it comes to money. It totally missed the invention of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Everything in the video that has actually happened or is likely to happen regarding peer-to-peer money transfer has not been accomplished by centralized banks, but by decentralized blockchain cryptocurrencies and new business startups. Nevertheless, many of the positive social benefits discussed in the video may come to pass by the early 2020s. However, it will be businesses utilizing cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies that will be leading the way in real life. Not the big banks or other big "old economy" companies.
