The new and improved Bitwala comes with a number of new features designed to ease and improve customer experience on the BItwala platform. Today, we’ll focus on one feature that we believe will be a game-changing addition: the Bitwala messenger.
What is it?
The Bitwala messenger is our newly released web app messenger that allows customers to interact and send money to each other. Have a friend that owes you money for lunch? Simply send a friendly reminder and your friend can send you the money straight through the messenger. Maybe you borrowed 20 Euros for a night out last weekend when you couldn’t find any ATMs nearby? You can easily drop a short apology to your friend and pay him back through our messenger. The messenger also allows users to write notes or personal reminders within the chat that only the sender would be able to read.
Is any verification needed to use it?
The messenger requires no level of verification thus is open for users from all levels. When designing the app, we wanted to give you a great feature that is simple, convenient and hassle-free. You can chat and send money to any fellow Bitwala customer without worrying about any sort of verification beforehand.
Why you’ll love it
The new Bitwala messengers allows you to swiftly chat a friend up and send money a whole lot faster and easier. The messenger allows you or your recipient to decide how the money is sent or received. You can also easily check your transaction history conducted through the messenger where each transaction to and/or from a friend is clearly displayed.
The chat messenger is definitely my favorite addition to the new and improved Bitwala. It’s like Whatsapp for money, and I absolutely love it. - Bitwala CEO Jörg von Minckwitz.
