Warren Buffet's modest lifestyle for having over 74 billion dollars is what impresses me most about him. I think I heard he drove a Saturn and drove it into the ground for almost ten years, so now his daughter has to force him to buy new cars when they start to become a road hazard. He has a modest family home that you would expect from the average upper middle class family. You would think it's the textbook case of frugality, but the whole concept of investing is taking risk. He does however remind me of an old woman who "60 minutes" did a piece on a while back. She was 74 years old, an ex school teacher and an infamous pack rat with antiques and old newspapers piled up in her small suburban home. She didn't throw anything away and rarely ever left the house. I can't remember why she was considered to be a good topic for a news story initially, but the woman refused to be on camera or answer the door for the 60 Minutes reporters. I also don't remember how they got a hold of her bank information, perhaps they illegally went through her mail. Short story long, the woman had saved over 5 million dollars from a dirt cheap teacher's salary, coupons and being frugal as all fuck her entire life. Now that I think about it, the reporters were sent by her family who wanted to know if she was dead yet, so they could get their inheritance. Yeah, Buffet is a beast.
