RE: Shooting Stock Photos That Sell!

in #money7 years ago

I submitted several photos to shutterstock some years ago, and at first it was fine. I got a few rejections of course, but they were relatively few and far between. Then I stepped away and pursued local employment opportunities which ended up limiting how much stock photography I could really concentrate on. When I came back, however, it was nearly impossible to submit a photo to them. Out of 20 submissions, I might've gotten 2 approvals. Their quality requirements made it to where I was going to have to upgrade my gear. I felt left out and left behind. Haven't really messed with it since.
Although, I did get some videos submitted. Honestly, those paid out more, too.
