There's a lot of things I don't agree with in this post, and plenty of the things you said simply don't hold in real life. But hey, maybe it is like that in your society. In my experience, both the rich and the poor might be involved with crime. I think it has a lot to do with what a person is like. Some people will be criminals regardless of their income size. Some people will be angels regardless of their income size. Poverty, however, remains a risk factor which increases the issues with violence, health problems (e.g. nutrient deficiency) and many other problems. We should never forget that, and we should always strive towards the elimination of poverty. But I think that you tried to make a valid point here, and that is that the first step to any change is embracing where you currently are, wherever that might be, including poverty. And that is something I can totally agree with. Your topic already sparked some debate, and that's always a good thing.
