You keep saying communism, but communist central planing was run by engineers, not bankers. And the problems began, when it was given to politicians. The best example of central planing, and perhaps the most "communist", was during Aliende government in Chilie. It was called project Cybersyn, and designed with the help of Stafford Beer. Too bad, that US funded military coup ended the system. :-> In communist systems te decision making is like pyramid, but the decision making goes from bottom up, not top down.
