Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to appreciate the slow emergence of spring and the budding flowers and trees!
Buds Monochrome Monday
Springtime, the time of rebirth and growth. That's definitely the case around here and it's a wonderful sight and feeling!
There are cycles of life that's for sure, going through the different stages. Growth, maturation, aging and finally death. Each of the seasons represents one of these different stages of life, really. We are in the growth period that's for sure! The trees, plants and animals are coming back from their yearly slumber in the winter.
It's a nice sound when you are inside, or out, and you hear the birds chirping up a storm. The bugs aren't necessarily around yet but that's okay. The birds are waking up, getting their mating calls going so that they can start to develop families and work towards building their nests. The trees are starting to come back to life, offering up the early morsels on their branches and working to grow the ones that are already there. The sun is not as present as we would like but it's hiding behind the life giving forces of the clouds and rain.
The crazy thing about all this is that it's such a complicated system. Yet people feel like they can manually adjust this system by manipulating the weather and the clouds with chemicals and stuff. It's really quite arrogant, if you ask me. I know we shouldn't be foolish and think that we can forcibly change something as powerful and large as the planetary weather systems and if we do, not expect severe and worse consequences to occur. I don't think people quite understand that concept sadly, and continue on trying to manipulate it for fun or boredom.
Off that dark thought though.. lol back to how nice it is to see things coming back to life. Everywhere you see the animals peeking themselves back out, showing their faces. The ducks and geese are coming back from their winter slumber in the southern climates. Taking pit stops off at nice parks and rivers like this so they can spend a few weeks here, eating and enjoying the weather before heading further north up into Canada where they are going to be nesting and making the next generation.
These pieces of regrowth and rebirth everywhere are good to see, breathe in and appreciate. We had a tough winter personally, having been sick so often that it's really nice to be able to see the weather warming up a bit, the plants and animals coming back out. Springtime is definitely upon us. We've gotten some cold snaps here and there but it won't ruin our spirit, let me tell you! Lol.
I love turning these photos into black and white, seeing the buds in their minimal color against the backdrop of the river and steel-grey sky.

The rebirth of the natural ecosystem during spring is amazing to watch and observe for me. It brings hope and assurance that even after the dark icy cold winter life will be reborn and the cycle will begin anew.

The rebirth that happened in the spring season is amazing
Lovely weather!
The weather has its ups and downs but I think overall it's a good process with a great end result!
