RE: monochrome monday — shadows in the sunlight

Black and white is a good choice when the color in a photo serves only as a distraction from the message you want the image to convey.

I tend to look at the message in a photo whether color or B&W. I like the tones and shades in these photos because it highlights and focuses on the structures. If I used the color photo you might be distracted by the sunlight bouncing all over the metal and miss the shadows and lines etc.
