There can be no such thing as redundancy when speaking about beauty. How can there ever be too much? Let's make this picture all about #MondayRed #ColorChallenge by @Kalemandra. Because for all practical purposes, she colors my world. Every. Single. Day.
Up close and personal is how I like to look at things. It truly gives a different perspective on things and sometimes changes how I see life.

I always post this poem down at the bottom of my posts. It is one that has become so near and dear to my heart. I only post the most famous part of it, but, wanted to post it in its entirety today.
i cried the way women on tv do
folding at the middle
like a five pound note.
i called the boy who use to love me
tried to ‘okay’ my voice
i said hello
he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?
and these are what my prayers look like;
dear god
i come from two countries
one is thirsty
the other is on fire
both need water.
i held an atlas in my lap
ran my fingers across the whole world
and whispered,
"where does it hurt?"
it answered,
"everywhere"
"everywhere"

I knew a girl in my school when I was around ten who had a special relationship with her Horse, so special in fact that it but a good chunk out of her bottom lip. I don’t think she tried to give it kisses after that episode, and most likely fed it a bit more often too!
Those yellow flowers are amazing, such wonderful colours. The allure of all things lovely is so true - that’s why we all gravitate to @dswigle posts.

Oh, my God @c0ff33a!! Now you know I will never put my lips near my baby again!
Obviously, her relationship lacked in some way, except she just didn't know it! You can get a horse that becomes lippy, but, usually that comes from you giving him treats to where he starts expecting them and will even look for his own.
Henry isn't lippy and we don't give him treats at will. Only once in a while. It makes for a better horse while they are young and learning.
But, I can assure you, I will probably think of that girl every time I put my lips close to his! LOL
The allure is so tempting to be close to the loveliness of spring. Awwww such a nice compliment! You do know how to make a girl feel good. Thank you! As always, I wish you a great day!

I know my thing Is I have kept looking for and trying other shots for the mono post, and some of the last photos may be not as good as I would want, so I should also try mixing it up sometimes

I think this is your best post yet. My granddaughter moved three hours away two weeks ago. She use to live around the corner. We miss her but she has moved to a place where she has a horse. I think she will have beautiful memories in her new home and that helps us feel better.
I believe you are right! I know my girls love their horses ( you can see my daughter in the above shot) and there is a special bond between them. I know it must be hard for you, but, this makes for a new place for you to visit! XXO

I'm not finding it hard..yet. We go to the mountains, where she moved, quit a bit anyway. In today's world it's easy to keep in touch.
It really is, isn't it? From working for the government, my friends are all over the world and to this day, I keep up with them, which is amazing and yet so commonplace today.
I will be off on vacation this weekend and although I will check in, will not be as present! I need some ocean!!! I'm definitely overdue!!! It has been a couple of months!
