Captured in time, using mono makes for more intricate detail especially on the gargoyle above the lamp.

Clock photography great features giving it the feel of the age.

I do love how mono brings our focus on the details and not get distracted with colors

Yup, it would have. Mono especially on antique subject brings out much more detail, also feels right not being in color.
