Up close and personal on that first one! I love the detail. Is it a macro shot? Very nicely done! Here's Julia perched in a dead tree...I thought it looked best in gritty black and white:

Gorgeous tonal range in the first two images! The latter ones aren't too shabby either: the dead leaves against the sun could easily be a dark, dark genre album cover, hehe!

I've got a couple of the curly bulbs for the soft boxes. Would never have figured it out without that? The white flower close up is lovely and sharp.

The Monochrome Monday is a great thing. So very glad it's still going. And it gives folks something to do that isn't too 'heavy' on the dreaded day of the week. Not that your challenge isn't heavy in content and intent, just an easier thing than the write write write stuff. (Which I also love).
As for the speed limit, I can relate. I go pretty boring most days. Saves in gas and speeding tickets. Who wants to spend SBD on THAT?!! Have a nice day in the chill.

I can see your reflection in the CFL bulb.

You need a bigger cause to be a rebel than your old man speed limit, just sayin'.

Your photo through those brambles is similar to the one I tried to do - you made it way nicer....it's softer and you caught the sun burst rays. Very nice :) And I like the tulip dressed up in black and white as well.

I once went 10 over the speed limit. I almost had a heart attack from the excitement lol. The light bulb is the neat one. Took me a minute to realize what it was.
