While browsing the internet for a meaningful quote to accompany my entry to the Monomad contest, I found an interesting line. The person I'm quoting here is someone famous but a guy who you wouldn't expect to say something like that.

I don'y like Jim Carrey as an actor, but I have learnt to enjoy his words. He was on Bill Maher's show a while back and he makes a lot of sense.

I have no clue who said that but it's not only beautiful but true as well!
When I'm in the mountains or woods or both, and get to stay down for a minute to enjoy the view and silence, I'm always thinking of how those trees or cliffs don't worry or care if it's Monday or Wednesday, or if steem is down or up, or if Trump signs the climate deal or not! I used to think they live a carefree life but that's not true, isn't it? They have plenty to worry about and maybe less help from us humans.

No, you are not crazy. This is something that crossed my mind numerous times. Nature seems so carefree but it is actually reacting at what we, humans, did to it. Storms, unusual temperatures...and all because of us. But, indeed, trees will continue their life untouched by our worries. If we don't care about their well-being, why should they care about us, right?
Right, well said my friend and sad in the same time! We have to learn to respect and preserve nature!
Amen to that! If people would treat nature with the same respect as it treated us, things would be much better and easier for all of us.
Let's do something about that! Maybe we can change people's mind by raising awareness, by posting about this! 🙂
