Today was more than hectic, but I managed to find a couple of minutes to post my 4th entry at the Monomad Contest.
The topic for this week contest is PEOPLE. Any other photographers around who want to join this contest, see the rules at the contest link right here: https://steemit.com/monomad/@brumest/monomad-photographic-contest-week-5-topic-people.
If yesterday I chose based on my girlfriend's taste in photography, today I'll leave it up to the lack of time and what was the best image I could think of. I'm pretty sure is not my best, but memorable would have to do for today.
I took this picture in Tbilisi, Georgia. In an underground passage, I anticipated the moment, rushed next to the wall, composed the frame, and waited a couple of seconds until the silhouette was where I wanted, and I had just enough time to check the settings and be sure I'll get it.
I can't help it and I'll write what it represents for me. A metaphor. Life, a lonely journey, the light at the end of the tunnel, filled with ups and downs, and when you get at the end you will rise above all the problems. In this particular case using a set of stairs.
I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.
Very good shot, man! I have been staring at it for more than a minute :)
Thank you @irreverent-dan! This is one of the best thing a photographer can hear/read nowadays! I appreciate it!
