The juniper berries started to ripe. From the beautiful green color, they will become a dark shade of purple. This is the sign that they are good to be picked and turned into the only condiment produced by the conifers.
With a bitter taste... you know... like the gin, this plant had amazing properties when it comes of healing liver diseases.
I'm not making gin or use the juniper for cooking, I just like to look at its deep green needles and berries. And photograph them. 🙂
