I LOVE MY MOTHER

in #mother7 years ago

I loved my mother since I came out the womb,
It may seem impossible but I did miss the warmth and protection,
That's why I cried and I am pretty sure that's why most newborns cry.

I loved my mother when she was teaching me how to talk,
Trying to form words with my mouth was hard enough,
But the faces she'd make to make me laugh filled me with joy.

I loved my mother and never wanted to let go on my first day of school,
I felt as if though I was being sent to an imprisonment camp due to my lack of
knowledge,
But I was overjoyed when I got to see her again at the end of the day.

I loved my mother when she talked me out of the car on my first day of middle school,
she proved me wrong when I thought it was going to be hard and it turned out to be a
great three years,
For this and many other reasons, my mother is my role model.

I loved my mother when she walked me to high school and picked me up to make sure I
didn't get lost,
she took off work that day,
That day was a huge transition, and she was there to walk me to it.

I will love her when I see her in the pew of the church while I walk down the aisle to graduate,
I will always love my mother no matter what and I know she will always love me under any circumstances,
Because I love my mother, I will always devote myself to make her proud of me.
