Motherhood is full time job if you ask me. You really cannot know it all when it comes to being a mom, its a gradual process, you learn on the job. From when a woman becomes pregnant to childbirth and nuture, these processes sure build you up for the experiences and challenges ahead. Even as a first time mom you'll always know the right thing to do for your baby and you will just have that feeling of fulfillment afterwards.
As a mom your sleep pattern automatically changes after baby arrives, you can't be sleeping when your baby or toddler is awake unless of course you want your house turned upside down which could also lead to the child hurting him or herself, so the sleep will just have to disappear or wait for when they are asleep. You have the lack of sleep moments, lack of vacation and official sick days. There are days you don't want to get out of bed but really have no choice because you can't hear your baby crying and still lay there;for one, you don't know why the baby is crying as they cannot express what they feel except by crying of course and there are so many reasons why they cry. Like when they are hungry, need a diaper change, need comforting, when they are too hot or too cold, the list goes on, you see that you really just have to get out of bed no matter how tired you are. A mom was asked about her experience and she said "being a mom is the best, hardest, most interesting and most fun thing I've ever done, or will ever do".
Being a mom is quite interesting, from watching your baby grow and achieve all the milestones, to the sound of their laughter, cute face and giggles, being your child's safe place;like when you are able to calm your baby with your presence and so many other sweet things. There are so many amazing experiences as there are crazy ones when it comes to being a mom. In all of these, i think all moms will say they love their amazingly crazy job and will want to do it over and over again.
