Today has been one of those days where I was not as productive as I have hoped to be. I did not go to work because of the flu. I stayed with my son watching cartoons. For the first time he called me mommy (I hope it will last lol). I wanted to capture that but I couldn't because he is not a fan of selfies of late. I guess he outgrew it.
But I must say, as much as I love my teaching job, becoming a mom gave me a perspective on life. Now I understand why others want to do all in their power to have time to spend with their loved ones, especially children.
There are these little steps in your little one's life that you get to witness and your heart just become full. My son says a lot of things because he loves talking and I don't understand 90% of what he is saying. So when he said "mommy" today, I nearly fell of the couch lol.
He has been calling me 'baby or teacher' but never mommy. The first word he uttered was 'daddy' (and I felt betrayed I will not lie lol)
So yeah. That has been my day this Wednesday. I hope you had a beautiful Wednesday.

Hmmm, I am suspecting this boy. I think he has always had the ability to say mommy, but he saved it for when he wants something, in this case the phone. He looks like he is on trading view lol
