WOW! steve again damn, a really good one here projecting a very clear difference of our environments when it comes to wealth, opportunity's, struggle, social selecting and dedication. Much respect for you and your family, Where I come from is totally different. Where I live, everybody can get a degree if they just have enough dedication, money was in my time not an issue (nowdays it has become an issue thanks to the government ).. Anyway the part of having no father in childhood is totally the same here, I believe it's very important to have both parents in a healthy relationship especially since kids are unknowing and need guidance in any way and any aspect possible.. but I believe it may not particularly be a father. An uncle, friend or even a grandparent or grandma can do. I think the influence of a dominant figure other than a feminine protector like a mother mostly is, is important. aslong als the child is raised and learns both masculine and feminine from trusted protectors who, no matter what always will support and are a save haven to rely to, and be role models is what I think is the ideal.
