My Mom passed several years ago.
So since I've been slowly sharing my life story everywhere, here's a good personal story:
I don't remember it, but when I was 6 years old, my Mom said I jumped on my Dad's back when he was beating her, trying to stop him (sadly, my Dad beat on my Mom).
Of course, I got beat too, but I feel Proud, that even at 6 years old, I was sticking up for Mama!
