I know, this is a late Mother's Day post! But, I found an old piece of artwork I did for Mother's Day during school days, circa 2001. I was probably around 13yrs old. Such horrible calligraphy, lol! But it's so reminiscent to read what I wrote back then. What a sentimental piece but when I showed it to my mom and told me she didn't have time to read because she's busy getting ready to go out 😂
Below is a recent photo of Mummy and I. She may seem like a happy-go-lucky lady but she's been through a lot and has become a very capable woman who raised 4 kids while moving around 4 countries. Sometimes I'm a brat and forget how she's cared for us, and I always feel guilty if I show my temper with her. I try to remind myself to have more patience and not take her for granted. May all of us appreciate our mummies whenever we can, Happy Mother's Day !
