Hello, Hive members. I hope that you are all well. This is my first post on hive blog. I hope that you would enjoy it.
A girl, who was just 7 years old, went running to a chemist shop. She was carrying a piggy bank in her hands. When she reached the chemist shop, there was a huge crowd there. People were busy buying medicines. The girls somehow went inside the crowd and was now standing in front of the counter. The chemist there was busy taking orders. He didn't noticed the girl. The girl was constantly shouting to grab his attention, but in vain. At last, she took her piggy bank and slammed it in the counter. Don't worry, it's not broken still.
The sound of the piggy bank grabbed everyone's attention, including the chemist. He asked her politely,
"What do you need?".
She replied,
"I need a miracle".
The chemist was confused, he said
"Sorry, but I don't have miracles".
The girls still insisted,
"Please give me a miracle. I have lots of money inside this piggy bank, you can take it entirely".
The chemist was still confused, don't know what to speak.
At that moment, another person standing there asked the girl,
"Why do you need a miracle?".
To this, the girl said
"A few days ago, my brother fainted and was admitted in hospital. Days passed, but he never returned. I always asked my parents about him, they always assured me that he would arrive soon. Yesterday, I found that my mom was crying. Dad was telling her that he can't afford the expenses required for the treatment of my brother. Now, only a miracle could save him. That's why I am here to buy a miracle. My parents may not have money, but I have lots of money in my piggy bank, so I thought that I can purchase a miracle to save my brother."
To this, the man smiled and asked
"How much money do you have in your piggy bank?"
The girl smiled and immediately released her piggy bank, as a result, it fell on the floor and broke into pieces. The girl started to look for coins. After some time, she came up and said proudly with a sweet smile'
"I have 19 rupees." (26 cents at the time of writing, just for reference)
The man smiled and said
"Oh, you have enough money to buy a miracle. I would give you the miracle from this 19 rupees."
He was actually a well known neurosurgeon, and with just 19 rupees, he treated her brother. After a few day, he returned some. He had recovered completely, and was healthy now.
One evening, everyone in her family was busy playing Ludo. Her mother asked her father,
"How did you managed to afford to pay the expenses?"
To this, her father said,
"I didn't even paid a penny thereafter. It was all because of his daughter."
So, what do you learned from the story?
Here it is-
Just like the child in the story, there is a child inside us. Even if we know that there isn't any hope to succeed, the child still tries to find ways to get out of that state. The child is very optimistic. The child doesn't simply know the word 'no'. So, never lose faith. Trust yourself. Sooner or later, you would be able to tackle the problem. Remember, greatest views can only be seen from toughest climbs. You never lose the game unless you leave the field. You are limitless.
