6 months is a very long time. That is about 180 days, 26 weeks, or 4,320 hours.
If we subtract the 1,440 hours needed for a restful 8 hours of sleep per night, that leaves us with 2,880 hours for activities!
Let us say you lose another 8 hours a day to working your regular job, there is another 1,440 hours.
That leaves us with 1,440 hours to divide between self-care, basic needs, and anything else you want to do with your life.1,440 hours into 180 days leaves us with 8 hours per day.
Let us say we need an hour to eat breakfast and dinner, an hour to cook your meals, an hour a day for bathroom visits, and an hour for commuting. Now we are down to 4 hours a day of free time.
What do you want to change in your life? Maybe you want to learn how to cook better, or start writing that high fantasy novel you dream about, or spend more time with your friends?
You have 4 hours a day, to work towards those goals.
Let us say you already have a hobby that you are passionate about, but now you want to share it with the world.
If you dedicated those 4 hours a day, every day, for 6 months, to start and grow a YouTube channel, that would be 720 hours invested. In 6 months, you could have a monetized YouTube channel that could be bringing in money while you sleep.
In 6 months, you could be more than half way through writing your high fantasy novel.
In 6 months, you could be half way through a culinary arts program.
In 6 months, you could have spent 720 hours hanging out with your friends, creating memories, and enjoying your life.
You can achieve many goals in 6 months, but you must start today. The longer you wait and push off the first day of your new goal, the longer it will take for you to reach that finish line.
Time waits for nobody, there will never be “the perfect moment” to change your life. The only moment we have is now, and it is already gone.
If you want to change your life, make a plan, set a goal, and go for it.
What are you waiting for?
