Smiles may be often easy when there are no mountain to climb, no valleys to descend, no fight to fight, no gathering of a dark cloud over us... Can smiles that result from the above "descriptions of ease" qualify absolutely for the beautiful smile?
Have you witnessed the smiles of wounded soldier after winning a war? What about the smiles of the bereaved after much tears? Have you thought about the smiles of a fresh graduate who went through the mill to see himself or herself through school without cutting corners?
Must one experience pains to have a beautiful smile? A smile that has struggled through tears and that which never experienced tears which could be said to be more beautiful?
Should we go look for pains so we can have a beautiful smile? No! But accepting in good spirit inevitable pains that may show up sometimes may be a good idea. The meeting of a tear and a smile can really make a beautiful smile!
