I just finished listing to the audible book The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I bought the audible book because I use the time when I am doing my school run to listen to books rather than the radio.
I once read that this book is one of the most read books of all time so I had to read or listen to it. I know that Paulo Coelho is the well known writer and motivation speaker and I love motivational books, so I bought it.
I don’t like buying non-fiction books and was surprise to find this a non-fictional book. The book tells the story of the life of a shepherd boy, Santiago. As I started listening to the story I find loads of life lessons to learn. This makes this fiction book very interesting.
I highly recommend this book to any one who likes fiction and non-fiction books.

Yes. I read Alchemist from Paulo Coelho and as you mentioned in your post, I was also surprised that it is non-fiction. It was one of the best books I've read when it comes to motivational writing and I must say, I have read many of them. I usually read at night, after I get everything done and day calms down. I felt like an addict while reading this book. Couldn't wait for the evening. Btw, thanks for sharing those tips at the end of the post. You just taught me something. Thank you. Love your post.
I loved this book! I never read fiction books, but I remember Will Smith talking about this book, and so I said I'll read it.
You're right, it's a fiction book but not an everyday fiction book.
Now that you mention it I want to read it again.
