Hello Steemians and welcome to a short relaxation session that will only take a moment or two and leave you refreshed for the day or relaxed and ready for a blissful nights rest. So here we go ...
Find a comfortable place to sit, arms at your side. Take a moment to allow your body to settle.
Take 3 deep breaths, inhaling deep into your lungs, exhaling fully from the belly. Take your time and do this at a pace that is right for you. In deeply, out fully. In filling the lungs, out emptying the belly.
Now let your breathing settle to a rhythm that is right for you. Watch the breath now for a moment in your mind's eye as is comes in through the nose, and comes out warmly through the nostrils. In cold, out warm. Do this for a moment with focus, as long as you feel comfortable and centered.
Relax for a moment in the bliss that follows.
The breath heals. It both excites and relaxes. When we get upset or furious, the breath is often held. When happy and carefree, the breath is light and free. Have you ever taken time to notice? Your breath should now be nice and easy, thus giving the resource for a clear mind and a path towards a productive day or a restful night.
