My take is that Bitcoin is a currency, but Steemit is a platform. In the long run, that is what will help Steem survive and prosper. Personally, I view any dips in the market as buying opportunities. I joined Steemit about 2 weeks ago, and the USD/SBD exchange rate was basically 7:1. Now it's closer to 3:1 For me, that makes Steem much cheaper and easier to buy. Sure, the curation/creation awards are down for everyone, but I feel like everything is on sale right now. Time to pick up some bargains! Keep an eye on the long term. This is just a "correction" and not a "crash."
