Kenyan runner Abel mutai was only a few meters from the finish line,but got confused with signs and stopped, thinking he had finish the race.BA Spanish man,Ivan Fernandez,was right behind him and realizing what was going on started shouting to the Kenyan man to keep running while Mutai did not know Spanish and did not understand.
Realizing what was going on Fernandez pushed Mutai to Victory
A reporter asked Ivan "why did you do this?" Ivan replied "my dream is that one day we have some sort of community life where we push ourselves and also others to win
The reporter insisted "but why did you let the Kenyan win?" Evan replied "I didn't let him win,he was going to win.The race was his.
The reporter insist and asked again"but you could have won!" Ivan looked at him and replied but what will be the merit of my victory? What will be the honour of this medal,what would my mother think of it?the value is generated from generation to generation.
Now what values do we teach our children and how much do you inspire other to earn? Must of us take advantage of people's weakness instead of helping to straighten them.
We should always be there to straighten our weak mates and not taking advantage of there weaknesses
We shouldn't be part of the society that lead others by taking advantage of there weaking point but be part of the society that lead others by pushing them to there winning point.
